Nevada Day Beard Contest | Carson City, Nevada

Hosted by Cipriani’s Downtown Barber Shop and Paradise Salon-Spa-Wellness, the Beard contest is just plain fun! Think you have the longest, reddest, blondest, most salt and pepper, etc.? Come to McFadden Square after the parade (2:00ish) and participate, or just come and enjoy the event.
The Nevada Day Parade is a celebration of Nevada statehood. It is organized by unpaid volunteers, and we receive minimal funding from Carson City. We rely on our Nevada Day gift shop and the support of the community to help us put on the parade each year.
