We’re celebrating the unique and rugged style of farriers with our inaugural contest, showcasing the best beards in the industry. Whether you’re sporting a full, thick beard or a well-groomed mustache, this is your chance to flaunt your facial hair and compete for the title of the Best Farrier Beard of 2024.
Winners will be chosen via online voting by American Farrier’s Journal readers. Join the fun, show off your beard and may the best beard win!

How to Enter
- Snap a Photo: Take a clear, high-quality photo of yourself. Make sure your face and beard are well-lit and fully visible.
- Submit Your Entry: Fill out the entry form and upload your photo and short bio about yourself!
Don’t forget to share on social media! After submitting your entry, share your photo on social media using the hashtag #BestFarrierBeard2024 to increase your chances of being noticed.
How the Winner is Selected
Submissions close on September 27 and voting begins October 4 and runs until October 25. The farrier with the most votes will be crowned the “2024 Best Farrier Beard” and will be announced on November 1st—just in time to kick off No-Shave November! The winner will also be honored at the 2025 International Hoof-Care Summit.
